Our Story

Billo was co-founded by Tim and Emma in 2017. The Billo was conceptualised when Emma noticed that people were constantly scrabbling to find something to put under their heads at the beach. Recognizing that these things were neither comfortable nor water-resistant, she realised the need for a beach pillow made from wet-suit material. As the concept grew, she thought of a secret pocket inside the beach pillow as beach-goers constantly stress about the safety of their valuables. The final addition was the clip so that one could attach their beach pillow onto a beach bag.

At the end of 2017, she asked her best friend, Tim, to partner with her in creating such a beach necessity. Together they began designing and manufacturing the beach pillows, which soon became known as the billo. At the end of 2018, Billo officially launched along with a relationship between its' co-founders.
